This was a gift for my adult son. He really enjoyed and wanted a pool table at home, but only if he had the right feel of the table. This pool table fits the bill. Is it fine furniture? No. But it has leveling feet, is solid and comes with an excellent clean flat top 3 pieces of slate – at least 1 inch thick (maybe a little thicker). Setup process is not yet 10 minutes. It can be overwhelming for mechanics also challenged. Slate is heavy so you'll need big people to set the slate in place. Finally, the process has felt so long as the building of the table. If done carefully, following instructions (generic instructions found on the web, not in table), the end result is spectacular. Roll the ball is true even in pockets. In short, if you are looking for a fine piece of furniture and a pool table, this is not for you. However, if you are looking for an affordable pool table that plays as well as the top of the pictures online and is willing to put some sweat into it, this is an excellent table for you.
